Schlatter Maternity
I have had the honor of photographing all 3 maternity sessions for their girls and by the end of next week, I will have also photographed the amazing birth story of all 3 beautiful girls. They are some of the sweetest, kindest and most gorgeous people on the planet!
Truesdell Family
It’s hard to believe that I have been photographing this family (weddings, babies, engagements, and more) for 12 years! I never laugh so much or feel so loved as I do when I am with them. So incredibly thankful for each of them and their beautiful children!!
Grayson : Newborn
Meghan + Matt: Wedding
These two beauties tied the knot at the beautiful Bavaria Downs! I had SO much fun with them and their amazing wedding party! Enjoy all the beautiful things (especially Meghan’s smile)!
Remembering Baby Amos
I had a stillbirth 3 years ago. It devastated me. It changed me. But I chose to let it change me into a better person, a better mom, a better wife, a more kind person who chooses to love deeper. I’ve been changed to choose to love and listen even when the world says that if your opinions don’t match another, you should hate or disconnect with that person. The loss of my daughter has changed my health and the outlook on life in countless ways. And though we continue to walk a path of infertility yet again, I am choosing to love the life that I have been richly blessed with, enjoy the smallest moments as much as the big moments and connect and love those that walk the same path that we have walked. My friends lost their stillborn son at 20 weeks 3 days. They chose to bury his ashes in one of their most cherished places. I simply wanted to capture this night for them and love them. My only hope is that these images will be cherished for many lifetimes and their son is always remembered and always loved for the way he has changed all who love him.
Beautiful Julia
I captured Julia in her working element. She runs Ramirez Communications and is the most kind hearted person to work with! Check her out!
Summit Health, Brand Photography
Amie Chambers is an amazing fitness and nutrition coach! She works with you to completely customize what your body needs. We met up for a few hours one day to capture different aspects of her business. Keep an eye on her, she’s something fierce and doing wonderful things for others!
Summer Swim
A little throwback to when it was warm in MN and kids were swimming. I adore this family and consider them some of our favorite people!
Empower Your Conversations, Brand Photography
My friend, Tami, from Brand Yourself, created an online group for parents to talk about kids and the role social media plays in their lives. If you have kids spending any amount of time on social media, you will love this Facebook Group where the motto is, “Your kids are online whether you like it or not. Stop being scared of what they may find or who they may talk to and have conversations with them about social media. Empower your conversations with knowledge, positivity and confidence.” I’m so proud of Tami for bringing light and ease to this subject!
Daisy Blue, Product Photography
I get to work with Brand Yourself quite a bit for shoots! They hire me to do photography for their social media, website and branding clients and the shoots are ALWAYS so fun and unique! This shoot was with Daisy Blue Naturals, a company that produces quality natural makeup and body products. I highly recommend checking out BOTH of these companies to work with!
conley kate: birth day
I was so incredibly humbled when Jenna Kutcher reached out and asked me to photograph the birth of their double rainbow baby! I’m not gonna lie, I was a tad bit anxious and excited to have been asked. It’s not like I haven’t photographed a ton of births in my 17 years of business, but I knew that this one would likely be the most viewed. My goal at every single birth is really simple… just capture their story, no matter how it unfolds. With this, I take a true documentary approach where I don’t like to change the scene or put my voice into how I think the room/day/relationships should look. I won’t turn on a light or open a blind because I want to capture how the story really looked and I might just enjoy the challenge a little, too, in different lighting situations. I once photographed nearly an entire birth with only two candles lit in a dark room! Anyway, back to the Kutchers… my goal wasn’t going to change, just capture their beautiful love story. Little did I know that after spending 14 hours with Jenna, Drew, Sue (mom) and Kate (sister), that I would fall in love with who each of them are, their relationships and love for one another, and the immense love that this sweet new baby would feel in her first moments in life. Every birth story is unique and beautiful – Conley Kate’s was absolutely no exception! This small-town, hobby-farm-owning, mommy of two (plus 3 miscarriages and a stillborn daughter), girl with a tiny following on Instagram (Jenna, you’d be ashamed at my marketing technique!), and long-time photographer girl is so very humbled by the love and support from Drew & Jenna and the community that so greatly surrounds and supports them! I’ll forever cherish capturing Conley’s birth… not because of her last name but because I gained the sweetest friends and got to document a beautiful beginning of an amazing love story! I am not as good with words as Ms. Jenna is, but I can say that even if I was, I wouldn’t have the words to describe how grateful I am to have met this sweet family. Welcome to the world beautiful little Conley Kate, you are loved more than you can ever fathom!
