My incredibly sweet and true beauty of a niece is marrying the kindest and most smitten man! We started the sessions with their babies (aka pups) around the St. Anthony Main area and then went to Bauhaus Brew Labs to use their amazing windows and fun atmosphere for the second part of their shoot. I love these people and these images <3

orianna : birth day

I missed a birth! This story is the perfect example of how you just can never predict when baby is coming… Normally I head to the hospital when Mama is about 6-7cm unless we discuss otherwise in our pre-birth consult . I was so excited for this birth - Stephanie and I hit it off like we were old friends the first time we met and she had plans of doing an all natural birth which in terms of photography means… a whole lot of amazing situations to capture for them… aka… variety! Anyway, Orianna had very different plans. Her mama went from “Hey, we are heading the hospital and will update you when we get there” to an hour later, “Baby is coming now!” Stephanie tells the story best and from her beautiful perspective, but I’ll do my best to give you the Cliff Notes; 3cm to a baby in her arms in under an HOUR! Whoa! Stephanie was amazing and it was a beautiful experience for her! I decided to head up to the hospital anyway to capture all the new baby snuggles and to be there when her sweet big brothers came to meet her for the first time and I’m so glad I did! Enjoy this sweet new arrival <3

Sometimes I get asked to photograph incredibly beautiful spaces instead of incredible beautiful people and I am okay with it! Especially with its one of Erin’s designs from EH Design Co. These images are from her King Rail Project. I was smitten when I walked in the door and saw the beautiful design!

allison + duncan: engaged

I visited her the day she was born in the hospital. I’ve loved her family and they have shaped me & poured into my life since I was 13 years old (her auntie is one of my BFFs to this day)! It’s so wonderful to watch someone grow up into such an amazing person and find someone equally amazing to share her life with. What an honor to capture this new chapter of their lives!
